Havoc

(Methepitiostane)

What is Havoc?

Havoc, also known as Methepitiostane, is a methylated derivative of the Japanese anabolic/anti-estrogenic steroid Mepitiostane (Thioderon). It is a C-17α-alkylated steroid, a modification that allows the drug to pass through the liver into the bloodstream without being deactivated. This modification makes it effective for oral administration. Methepitiostane belongs to the group of oral anabolic androgenic steroids (AAS) derived from dihydrotestosterone (DHT) .

Is it often used by Bodybuilders?

Yes, Havoc, or Methepitiostane, is indeed often used by bodybuilders and athletes. It is popular for its anabolic properties, which can help in increasing lean muscle mass, strength, and overall physical performance. Because it is an oral steroid, it is favored for its convenience over injectable steroids. However, like all anabolic steroids, its use comes with potential risks and side effects, including liver toxicity due to its methylated nature, which allows it to be orally bioavailable but also puts stress on the liver. It’s important for individuals using or considering the use of such substances to be aware of these risks and to use them responsibly, ideally under medical supervision.

Havoc Overview:
Havoc, alongside its chemical relatives such as Methyl-1-Testosterone, Superdrol, and 1-AD, occupies a nebulous zone between prescription medication and over-the-counter (OTC) supplement. Despite demonstrating real steroidal effects, these substances haven’t received FDA approval nor have they been marketed as prescription drugs. In the US, Havoc is available as a sports nutrition supplement, packaged in bottles of 90 capsules, with each capsule containing 10 mg of the steroid.

Usage and Benefits:
Havoc is used in bodybuilding and athletic circles to significantly increase testosterone levels, leading to notable improvements in body shape and size. This is attributed to its ability to augment muscle fiber numbers. Testosterone also safeguards muscles against catabolic hormones by preventing them from signaling muscle cells to release stored protein. Moreover, it encourages muscle cells to accumulate more contractile protein, thus opposing the action of glucocorticoid hormones. Testosterone boosts erythropoiesis (production of red blood cells) in the kidneys, enhancing endurance through better oxygenated blood and aiding in faster recovery from physical exertion.

Recommended doses of Havoc range from 10-20 mg per day over 6-8 weeks. However, some bodybuilders opt for higher doses of up to 30 mg per day for 4-6 weeks. Women may use it at 5 mg per day for 4-6 weeks.

Potential Side Effects:
While testosterone usage is linked to various side effects, often sensationalized by the media, healthy bodybuilders typically face fewer concerns. Havoc’s low aromatization rate minimizes the risk of estrogenic side effects such as water retention, body fat gain, and gynecomastia.

Androgenic side effects are possible, including oily skin, acne, growth of body/facial hair, and temporary testicular shrinkage. Androgenic substances may also accelerate hair loss in men predisposed to it, although they are not the primary cause of hair loss.

Liver health and natural testosterone production can be impacted due to Havoc’s hepatotoxic nature and its potency. It is highly recommended to use liver detox supplements with Havoc. Additionally, synthetic testosterone and certain steroids can suppress natural testosterone production, with varying timeframes for recovery depending on the dosage and substance used.
